With the present statistics that the patients who died of corona virus are mostly the seniors, people are now conscious of that. Seniors are advised to stay away from people at all costs because getting infected by the COVID-19 may be fatal. It doesn’t matter if the senior has a strong immunity by taking loads of vitamin C. When you get caught then you are at a risk of dying.
In supermarkets here, they do not allow seniors to enter the shopping area. There is a holding area for seniors where they can sit and relax. A store attendant will get the list of what the senior wants to buy and get the items then the senior will be directed to the cashier for payment. It is a nice method intended for the benefit of the seniors but it is a cause of much delay and too much work.

Many stores are allowing seniors to enter the store by themselves for the first hour they open. We are not on complete lockdown here. But I am at home.
