My decision to spend less time on Virily was prompted by the needs of my family and my job. Time is precious and you can’t get it back.
It didn’t even take two days to see some dramatic differences. My outside views are great because of sharing with a vibrant community that responds and reads. If it is a poll they will participate. It’s great for the site and there’s not much value for me personally. I could have over 40 views and be lucky to have one comment.
I would guess if I spent an hour commenting, I would perhaps get five comments on a post.
My husband simply wants to wander with Doc and sometimes tells me what he wants to say, and he wants to keep track of Carol DM and her pictures and birds. I wish he could do that on his own, but it isn’t an option and that frustrates him.
I am not unhappy. It is just good to have a clear picture of the situation.
I will never stop writing and sharing. It could move to other destinations. I could go back to my personal blog and podcast. That would probably satisfy my need to create.
As always you are welcome to leave your comments and thoughts.

thank you for the call out!
i am also cutting my time here.
Our family definitely should come first. Time goes by and we cannot get it back. I agree with you. And I will post birds more often. 🙂
I follow all posts, but I don’t always have time to comment.
