Purple Alamanda are not so generous when it comes to giving out flowers. We have this vine intertwined among the greenery, in pots. We have a few other flowers including Euphorbia which are regular bloomers in this patch.
When these start blooming they become show stoppers as can be seen in the photo. They took a long time to show up and I know they will surprise us now and then
Even their buds look attractive and draw anyone’s attention. In one of my landscape designing projects I had these trained on arches.

But does yellow also exist?
Yellow is more abundant and blooms throughout the year
Yea there are flower in my balcony that bloom once in a blue moon
And when that happens I can imagine the joy you feel
