We always had peacocks strolling in our garden and in fact one peacock stayed the whole day through. These days we do not see them.
My assumption is during lockdown they have preferred to stay put in their own habitat which is not frequented by human beings.
We hear of birds of animals roaming around and enjoying the silence of the land. Little do they know this is a shortlived situation and soon they will all have to be back where they belonged.
Hopefully the new normal will ease the situation.

Do you think the new normal will give a breather to birds and animals?
I can’t remember the last time I saw a peacock. I’m afraid not very far in the near future, there will be a higher conflict between humans and animals.
It is already showing and how it will pan out in the end is anyone’s guess.
This female seems to be waiting for someone. I do not think that here it is impossible to return to their places. You may have this opportunity.
I used to have quite a number of them I am hoping they will return.
That’s a gorgeous capture! I wonder whether the transition for the animals back to their places would be smooth. I hope so.
But one never knows how long that will be. Once everything becomes normal animals will not be happy.
