Pakistan football team arrives in Crete to participate in Socca World Cup.

Pakistani team arrives in Crete, Greece, to attend the Socca World Cup. The Socca World Cup begins today, October 12, with teams from 40 countries taking part. The British head coach Kevin Reeves arrived in Crete and joined the team. The Pakistani team will play its first match against Slovenia on October 14, Romania on October 15, Germany on October 16 and Hungary on October 17, The national team has been named in Group ‘H’ in the event consisting of 40 teams.

The national team consists of Karim Karai, Habibur Rehman, Mohammad Waheed, Afan Siddiqui, Daniyal Mirza, Miran Saifi, Mohammad Ali, Shaban, Irfan Khan, Ali Haider, Shahab Raza, Yusuf Butt and Hassan Bashir.

Syed Ishaq Shah, Chief Operating Officer, Leisure Leagues, Manager Zeb Khan, Assistant Manager Syed Shahroz Hassan Rizvi, Coach Gohar Zaman are also with the team.

“The first session we started training today was great,” said team player Habibur Rehman. We hope we do well in the tournament.
