Custard tarts are one of the most popular and traditional sweets of Portuguese pastries. They are part of the culture of my country.
The original recipe was created by the monks of the Jeronimos Monastery and it is believed that its secret has not yet been revealed. These cakes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
I like mine with a little bit of cinnamon on the top, as you can see in the picture.

I do not know what the cake it is, never tried it. Yes, we have ur traditional cake that is baked only in Lithuania.
