Our mango harvest

Our small mango tree in the backyard is very prolific in bearing fruits. In the picture are 46 mangoes which was the last batch of harvest. For the fruiting season in the early part of this year, we had harvested a total of 330 mangoes. The second fruiting season is by November or December.

The type of this mango is called Apple Mango which is a cross of our local mango called carabao and the small Indian mango. From what I know the apple mango came from Mexico. Our tree was about 10 years old when we moved into this house in 2001 so that makes it around 30 years old already.
