Caladiums are annuals, they come and go of their own accord. Every year by the end of March they come out of their long winter sleep and put out new, art like leaves. There are thousands of varieties of caladiums and each one is so different and more beautiful than the other.
They grow from tubers and are ornamental plants. Its not just their leaves that look like painting even their blooms look like one. The blooms barely open, but they they look beautiful in their own way. I started collecting caladiums last year, but there are not too many around in the market.
Last year I ordered some online and it was a great disappointment to me. I did not get a single one that looks like what the catalog said it would be. This has happened with so many of the bulbs and tubers I bought online. Now I have stopped buying plants online.

I don’t buy plants online. Because I don’t know what I’m going to get.The photo looks like a picture.
In some places, they have not allowed for people to buy seeds due to the lockdown.
Here the sale of all nonessential goods has been stopped as well. But this was sometime last year.
