My Weighted Blanket

If the picture actually shows I have to point out, no one should ever sleep with make up on. If you read my posts and don’t just open them you know I have a sleep disorder. The few hours I do sleep I try to make count.  My doctor suggested I try a weighted blanket. She gave me one from the sleep clinic to try and I loved it. I had it for a week and was so well rested.

Then of course I looked at the price and decided I would make my own.  I find it very sad when companies take advantage of people who are ill.

In case poll are not fixed I am going to put the questions in both places.

Do have any sleep issues?

Have you heard of weighted blankets?

Would you ever try a weighted blanket?

  1. As you see, it did not work. Surprise surprise!
Sorry about your disorder. I have never heard of a weighted blanket.
I have PTSD, so I am awakened a lot at night.

    • This day on Virily has been less than successful for me. I try to be helpful and that didn’t work. I really don’t consider my disorder a real problem as I have had it from birth. But it is nice with this blanket I got a few hours of some very restful sleep.

My husband suffers from PTSD and Alzheimer so sleeping is rare here.

Still I am grateful we are all here.
