This week started with a very hot day for this period. It’s not a good thing, especially for trees.
Let’s hope that this warm weather will not make the trees starting to bud, or bloom and then and can make them susceptible to a killing frost.

Relatively warm, anyway. After hitting -23°F less than a week ago, we had 50°F today. Chicago’s weather is schizophrenic.
It is not that warm here, I would say average for the season, but it surely feels warmer compared to a week ago. Plants and trees suffer for this climate change quite a lot, indeed. ?
