The joy of having a pet is indescribable at any age, except that the new family member comes packed with a bunch of problems that we may not think. It was the case of Maya, who was very sick last year and almost I lost her. But we were lucky in the end, and now, one year after the surgery she had, we can enjoy the daily walks. We are not going as much as before but we can walk and that’s good !!!!

I am an animal lover, but cats are a little above other animals. 🙂 Although I adore my two dogs, cats are calmer and more relaxing, and they suits me better. Your dog is such a cutie, reminds me on my smaller dog, Carla. 🙂
Maya is a real beauty and lady. I’m sending a kiss for her. I had a dog, Nora .. but she died. Now I do not have a dog..I would like, but, I do not have the necessary conditions.

Sorry Ileana, I just love talking to the animals, although I am far from being Dr Doolittle. Even though I prefer dogs, I only have Runt, my polydactyl cat at the present time because the building I am living in does not allow a dog. But I have had three dogs in the past, Princess (a shetland sheepdog), Belle (a miniature american eskimo) and Tasha (a mix Husky and German Shepherd. I loved all three of them and now I give my love to Runt or Runty Dumpty or President Runt as I often call him.

Maya is a sweetie. Makes me miss my cocker spaniel. I have two cats but I love them both.
Besides Maya, we also have a cat. They are very good friends and we love both of them!
