My Best Memorable Time

In life we experience a number of things , some good and some not-so-good. Some of the experiences we undergo become ingrained in our subconscious  mind. We like to cling to memories that are good on the fact they did not affect us negatively. This is understandable. My memorable one was when I was teaching a female adult. I was teaching her basic English as the company she wanted to wok for needed employees with the knowledge of English language. At times she would bring me fruits. Here is the interesting part. She told me she had two children and a husband. She gave me the first English names of her two children, her husband including herself. She said I should come up with the first English name for her third child she since she was expecting a third child. Thus my task was to device a name for the third child by combining the given four names. I had to pick different letters from each name to get a desirable and unique name as she had asked.

I came up with three different names. She was excited, yah, glad. She picked one as her favorite. I was relieved and happy. While it was a few years ago and we lost touch; I am glad to know I assisted her in coming up with a desirable and unique name which contains the letters of her husband, her two children and herself for the baby who was about to be welcomed to the world. I don’t remember whether the child was a male or female and whether the name I had deviced was for a male or female child. In any case if it was named after a male or female it would stick to that particular gender in question. This is one of my most memorable times. It is one of he best memories I hold dear. What about you? Which memory do you hold dear to?

    • Thank you, Carol DM, for your comment. It is good to hold on to good memories, with bad ones in my case it depends which bad memories I should hold onto.
