More bad sides of technology

Technology helps us very much in our lives, but there arealso many bad sides too. First, we can give an example of very reachable porn materials, than fake information that can ruin peoples’ lives. Now technology can literally kill you. Everybody us here for 3D printer and people can print fully functional gun. We know that weapons can bring anything good.

    • 3d printer is device which can print useful tool or gun. There is no 3d printer only for guns. Blueprints for guns are forbidden and can’t be published online.

  2. 3d printing takes a level of skill and access to a 3d printer. The increase in guns isn’t going to be great. I suspect the other side (single shot, very poor accuracy) guns may cause more police shootings. The accuracy of a non-rifled barrel is very low.

    • You can easy find tutorials how to work in CAD software and 3D printers are not to expensive. Those 3D print guns are only for one time use but it will be much hard to track it down.

        • Very big number of murders is done from very small distances or in crowd so for those purposes is good. Also, maybe not accurate, but strong hit in head can kill people to.

          • In most situations any more than one shot is used to kill the person. Most people are not accurate with a gun anyway.

            The device you are arguing about is one that presents risks when you consider professional hits. It won’t present a huge risk at airports as the scanner will detect the bullet. It is a one use gun so, for the most part, it is reduced risk.

            There are many things of greater risk in the world than this particular problem.

            As for your assertion that the majority of murders are close range, that would, in fact, be true. But check your statistics, there is more knife than gun murders in the world, that skews your number to the right a lot. It is really hard to kill someone with a knife from more than 5 feet.
