Missing the corn fields

I was born and raised in the city but I had the opportunity to visit some farms when I was in school courtesy of my classmates who live in the rural areas. Maybe those farm trips have made me learn how to love plants and trees because a farm is like a place of life. The plants there are for food that I have that feeling of being thankful to the land.

In one of those farm trips, I had experienced the joy of harvesting corn. I was in high school so you can imagine how much was my anticipation of eating the freshly harvested corn. After half a day of collecting a big pile of corn ears, there was the big pot that was boiling with corn. I don’t remember how many ears I had eaten but for sure there was a lot.
