Today I’m going to tell you something about a flower considered the flower of life and fertility – Cornflower
Among other field flowers, cornflower is highlighted by its blue color. Along with other field flowers it can make beautiful bouquets.
In addition to their decorative effect, cornflowers are also very useful as a herb. They can be used both internally and externally without the risk of side effects. Cornflowers are rich in mineral salts and contain pectin, an indigestible soluble fiber, a bitter substance. Contains calcium, which is essential for bone development, as well as anthocyanins and flavonoids, components that greatly increase their medical value.
Cornflowers are especially noticeable through the benefits of eye treatment. They soothe eye irritation, conjunctivitis, and even irritations of the skin around the eyes. The infusion of cornflower is used to wash swollen, tired or painful eyes.
In the cosmetics industry, cornflower is a basic ingredient. We meet them in beach lotions, cleanser, eye makeup or skincare, in lotions and moisturizing creams.
