Goodbye winter. You didn’t show us anything spectacular this year. You were hotter than ever and the bare tree branches of winter give way to budding green leaves. They appeared too early and all I can hope for is that winter doesn’t wake up now at the end and come with frost over these little buds!

We have a similar situation. I worry that winter will come in March or April and will do a lot of damage again. This has happened several times.
No signs yet but hopefully it will be soon.

It was the warmest winter for us.
Oh my, buds in February. I agree, it is early and it makes me wonder what kind of summer you will have. Here we still have a fair amount of snow which has all fallen in the past month only with nothing in December. I just hope that spring will not be too early so that summer will not not be too long and too hot. Still, that picture of this little bud is very pretty.
This year has not snowed and meteorologists have announced that there will be problems with drought this year. But I’m afraid it will snow and these buds will freeze!
We still have feet of snow.
This year we didn’t have snow in Targoviste. This has never happened until this year.
I love the first snow, and then I quickly tire from it.
