Laying concrete on the road

It is called concrete overlay when the road is being cemented. In the olden days it used to be an asphalt overlay but that is the old fashioned way of paving the road. Now they use the cement which lasts longer unless heavy trucks would pass on the road.

The cement needed 28 days for the curing and drying period so the cement would stay strong for a long time. But lately they have discovered a certain adhesive powder that they mix with the cement to hasten the drying period from a month down to 2 days. That is pretty good because the long drying period usually poses a problem when the main road is being cemented.
