I made some choices last night and my family turned out to be disappointed and that surprised me.
In the past I stayed up most of the night turning the house into Christmas. I cover all the pictures with wrapping paper. Change the curtains, change the afghans and blankets. I put up the tree so it’s ready to decorate. I put out the Christmas dishes and hide the others.
Well, last night the boys were watching a marathon of some kind. They didn’t go to bed until 3:30 am. I decided it was a clear sign that they were not really interested in Christmas and I am tired.
I drifted off and both of them came to my bedroom a few minutes ago, woke me up to tell me I had ruined Christmas. I simply said, “That works for me.”
The good news is that they both knew who I was, so it’s all good. It could be an interesting day.

I skip Christmas most year.
I do love the Christmas music.
Okay, so I don’t know how to make a poll work. It never shows up correctly. Should I care or just ignore it and move on?
our traditions have shrunk as the kids got older! in fact, the decorations (what we still have will got up today.
Good for you. Send us a picture and we’ll make a poster!
well, we didn’t actually put anything up, so the picture would be from last year!
