I am just back from that Christmas party I organised for seniors at an old age home. There was plenty of singing, music, high tea and some even danced.
It is not easy to bring cheer to those who feel they are abandoned by their children. But at this party a bit of it was visible.
Santa did a great job. We had confetti and artificial snow to welcome him. Each one was given a gift and that again played a part to bring a smile.
There were around 35 of them and I took with me a couple of friends to lend me a hand.

I suppose the elders were very happy about Santa Claus. This is a special event.
