Have you tried ordering food in the hotel room? In one of our travels, I just got curious with the menu of the hotel’s restaurant. Room service is available so why not try it. Since the food is the same as in the restaurant so we tried the sandwich for an afternoon snack.
The presentation was great that the sandwich came with some chips and with relish pickles. We enjoyed the snack. But when we got the bill that is a lesson learned that room service means exorbitant.

I have enjoyed ordering room service a few times but you are right it can get to be very expensive.
It can get very expensive. We usually do only one meal through room service.
