Having a vegetable garden

A vegetable garden at home need not be a vast yard where you can plant crops. Even a small piece of vacant area for planting would be enough. What’s important is there is the soil and the area gets ample sunlight. Another thing is the potential garden is situated in a safe area and not in the pathway.

For the vegetable that can be planted, you can choose from a variety that grows in your place. In our tropical country, the most common are green leafy vegetables like lettuce. Some people prefer root crops like carrots and taro but they need good, soft soil so the tuber or the root would grow fast. For the beginner, the sweet potato is advised although it is a vine which means you need a larger area.
