Happiness because of the future

We often think of things as passing. There are many things to come. The best part is that they come as a gift to us. The gift is nicely packed in the box and we are most pleased because we do not know what is in the box. I think it’s similar in life. The difference is, we see the gift and we do not see the future. Both are mysterious. We don’t see yet that life’s gift but that doesn’t mean we will not recieve a gift.

I heard from a woman that she was looking forward to whatever was coming. She talks about things to come.

If we haven’t achieved what we want today, maybe tomorrow. Maybe in that mysterious box is exactly what we want.
