This isn’t a story, just my thoughts. Life isn’t always the happily ever after story. Oftentimes in the happily ever after people realize the truth of who they are and who the other is in the story. Then troubles begin. Fantasy isn’t the way life turns out to be.
Life brings with it ups and downs. When we are in the ups of life we never stop to question anything or wonder why we fly so high. However the moment life takes its downward turn we cry, we complain we ask why me, what did I do to deserve this?
To be fair the questions should arise on both sides of life. However because we love the highs and have this feeling of entitlement that we behave this way. No one is exempt from this there are various times in our life we have felt this way.
Some of us immediately correct our thoughts and change our attitude, some others remain belligerent and demand that life gives them what they deserve. Life isn’t a fairy tale. Life is one continuum of events some good, some bad, some for our education some for our experience. Life gives us the opportunities to be the best we can be despite our circumstances. Each one approaches these learning experiences differently.
Happily ever after isn’t automatic, you have to work towards being happy.

Happiness can be ripped from us. But never taken away from us when we hold it dear.
That is very true, Happiness can indeed be ripped away from us, but we need to work towards it.
or we go with Charley’s brown’s approach.
Happiness is a warm puppy. Not a warm and wet puppy just a warm puppy!
Oh I miss Charlie Brown, I almost forgot him.
he is a gift that keeps on giving!
Happiness is two scoops of ice cream!
I agree, we need to work on our happiness.
Thanks for validating my point. I appreciate that.
