How would the world be, if we see it only in shades of black and white?
In a colorful world, our eye is attracted to color. What will happen if everything is only in black and white shades?
The answer is not simple and I think this is the role of black and white photography, to give us the answer to this question.
Removing the color from a photo, the eyes run on the focused object. The tones, shapes and textures become more obvious, are not they?

To confess, my first steps in photography were a colorful positive film 🙂
Then I discovered black and white photography, again on film!
So far, I’ve been shooting some projects on black and white film.
Black and white images are cool to look at.

It’s the strangest thing. I grew up when TV and photographs were black and white. I remember how excited people were when they realized they could watch a YV show or a movie in color. I’ve seen some of the old shows and films colorized. It’s great. I love it. But I found old black and white movies and TV shows on YouTube and I’m sort of loving the “throwback vibe” when I watch them. They have a calming effect on me. I can’t really explain it. Black and white photographs also calm me somehow. You would think they make me gloomy. But they don’t.
How beautiful and fragile. I guessed, we will see.
