The average person spends about four hours a week doing laundry, and although modern washing machines do most of the work themselves, the result of the laundry can be significantly improved with one simple trick.
This method is especially useful for pet owners as well as those who own a lot of dark colored clothing, and it is about putting a damp handkerchief in the machine before loading the laundry.
The results will be visible immediately and really exceed expectations – the clothes will be hairless and pussy free as wet wipes act as an ‘absorber’ for them, writes Bright Side.
How to do it properly?
It is an important rule not to put more than 3 wet wipes at a time on each washing machine (approximately 7 to 8 pounds). When the drum starts to rotate, wet wipes will blend into clothing, collect hair and fur, and with each wash, use a new wet wipe that you have removed from the pack.
What is important is that wet wipes are firm enough and thick enough to not fall apart during the wash cycle, and you can check this by trying to break them with your hands. If you fail or you need a lot of power, they are solid enough.
