The English Premier League has a pretty good doubleheader on tap for today. Here is a look at the schedule. Both matches will be shown on the Peacock streaming service.
Sheffield United at Aston Villa – 1 PM EST.
Manchester City at Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) – 3:15 PM EST.
The first match is between Sheffield United and Aston Villa. Sheffield is looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss last week to the Wolves. Aston Villa will be playing in their first match of the season because their first match was postponed. Aston Villa will receive a huge boost this season after signing Emiliano Martinez as their new goalkeeper.
The second match will be tremendous with Manchester City on the road against Wolverhampton. The Wolves started the season off strong with their 2-0 victory over Sheffield United. Manchester City will look to bounce back after losing in the Champions League semifinals last season. This match will also be the first match of the season for Manchester City after their match with Aston Villa was postponed.
