The Premier League has a real nice doubleheader on for today on NBC Sports. Here is a look at the schedule.
Southampton at Norwich City – 1 PM EST.
Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur – 3:15 PM EST.
Norwich City is in last place, but they are only seven points away from escaping the relegation zone with nine games left to play. If the Canaries want to see light at the end of the tunnel, then they have to win against 14th place Southampton. Southampton is seven points away from the relegation zone, so a win would give them a nice 10-point cushion.
The second match in the doubleheader is outstanding with Manchester United going up against Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester United can move into fourth place with a win while Tottenham can jump from eighth to sixth with a victory. These two teams benefited the most from the coronavirus delay because each team had star players injured. Now, Paul Pogba will be back for Manchester United. Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min are both back for Tottenham Hotspur. However, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is suspended for this match.
