This was my home. My dream house dacha. My Russian crested friends often envied me. They had always wanted a piece of my hard-earned from scratch-on-ground wealth and riches.
When my crested royal family and relatives came to dwell with me and my brood in my four-story manor, I felt merrier. For it was better– and to the utmost– awesome! We flocked together in harmoniously like-feather fashion.
Humans that built my Dacha in the Woods I heard them name my house, were so kind to build infrastructure around my home so I would not squat in their massive land and be a constant prey to the foxes. Neither be degrading pests, nor eye sore, in the neighborhood– as well as– be prey to the prying keen-eyed eagles. Thanks to my human landlords– my good friends. Who gave me a fresh, new start when I came to their blessed land!
The memories of my humble beginnings are so vivid. Thanks to my human kind-hearted friends who adopted me and my family– with proper legal papers from a poultry village of ancestry of Russian breeds.
The humans and I worked hard. We kept our business ventures together, and independently of each other in great shape of stability and success! We were very happy and prosperous. You see, my Dacha In the Woods was indeed a sought-after royal habitat.
My humble free-range country house in the picture was my home. Yes! I built it!
