Black and White Friday – Birds in Flight

There is something about birds in flight that makes me want to focus my lens on them. perhaps it is their freedom, maybe their grace in flight or perhaps it is my  desire to smell the rarefied air at those heights that makes me want to take these pictures.

These two eagles looked like they were doing a dance in mid air. They were gliding together in some unknown symphony, flying above and below in tandem like they practiced these motions a few hundred times. Perhaps they did, who knows. But it was a fine display of grace and motion.

Just standing there and watch them glide with no care in the world makes me think that they have a lesson for us. Stop worrying. Just focus on the present and enjoy it as much as you can.
