Week Four of the Belarus Premier League continues on Saturday with a tripleheader. The first match will look to open up the logjam with six teams tied for second place with six points apiece with FC Vitebsk heading to Slutsk to take on FK Slutsksakhar. I wonder if any Femen activists will be there.
The second match is a doozy as well with second place Torpedo BelAZ (FC Torpedo Zhodino) hosting first place Energetyk-BGU (FC Zvezda-BGU Minsk). Torpedo has a shot to submarine Energetyk from the top spot. With these long team names, it seems that these two owners may be compensating for something that may be lacking.
The last match of the tripleheader is a Minsk derby between FC Dinamo Minsk travelling to FK Gorodeya (Horodeya Minsk Reg). Both teams won their first match last week. Adding the city rivalry will cause for a spirited match.
Fortunately, more fans are staying home in Belarus and watching the games on TV. I know that you do not care who wins. I know that you will not watch these matches. Answer the poll questions.
