Beef soup with corn

This is our special dish last weekend. Special means we only cook it once or twice a year and not more than that. The beef soup with corn is a special in the sense that it is not a common dish. It is like the beef porridge but instead of glutinous rice, what was mixed is the grated corn.

Corn is in season here so it can be bought in the market in its fresh state. Freshly harvested corn is always the best whether for eating as a snack or for including in dishes. We had a nice lunch with steamed rice.
