Last Christmas my niece gave me a seedling of an apple that she grew from a seed. It was a big challenge since apples don’t grow in tropical places. Now it is a challenge to me because from the seedling to the sapling took 1 year. But the sapling has a thin stalk that needed to be boosted to look like a tree.
To help the sapling, I tied it to at bamboo stick for support and I changed the soil in the pot to loam. Also added were compost and fertilizer so that it can provide more nutrients to the apple sapling. Friends are wishing me well that my sapling would grow into an apple tree and give us apples.

Do you have an apple tree?
-
Yes

No

We have apple tree in our neighbor home
I clicked on Lol because I inadvertently checked on yes on the first question. When I was in elementary I planted a seed and free to more than 2 inches, it wilted and died.
You may have to plant it on the ground for it to grow properly
I have realised the futility of trying to grow something under difficult circumstances.
