Aloe vera is for the skin and not for the hair

There used to be a tv commercial that aloe vera can make your hair thick. It is like an allure to the people with thinning hair. If that was true then it can be a remedy for baldness. Unfortunately that is a myth because aloe vera is a succulent that is for treatment of minor skin burns. The scalp is not in the department of aloe vera.

For those with thinning hair my recommendation is to stop using shampoo. Frequent use of shampoo abuses the scalp that the roots of the hair are also affected. Try using laundry bar soap in alternate with shampoo.

  • Do you use aloe vera for your hair?

    • Yes
