I have had this Hoya carnosa for a year and a half and it has been growing and growing wildly. I have created three or four plants from my hoya , but none of them bloomed. I have been reading up all I can about hoyas and watching videos on how to make hoyas bloom until yesterday without realizing that mine had already bloomed but since the plant is in my pergola the blooms have been hiding.
Today as I was cleaning up and tying up some of my climbers I realized that my hoya had bunches and bunches of flowers buds all over it, there were a couple of bunches of flowers too. I was so thrilled that I have been taking pictures of them from every angle.
Every plant that blooms or bears fruit is a pleasant reward to any gardener. I am so happy that I needed to share it here even though I think some 8-10 posts of mine are still pending approval. I have decided that I will keep on writing until they approve, true none of my posts will see more than a couple of responses as they will get approved in one go (in the last batch one had no response at all until someone took pity and commented on it). But I had to share this either ways.

you are an amazing gardener. The time you spend caring for your plants shows clearly in your joy and in your picture!
Congrats!
I honestly couldn’t wait to show off LOL . Sometimes it is very much a like mothers pride at seeing her children do well.
well it is very impressive you should be proud!
Thank you Doc, I love the sweet fragrance as well.
you are most welcome – lovely flower!
Very beautiful flowers, dear Dawn …. this plant does not grow in us
Hoyas are great indoor plants , they can grow wildly if allowed to.
I do not have one but the bloom is gorgeous.
They are so perfect that they look fake , people have been asking me if it is a fake plant LOL . I love these. I need to get more varieties but these are very expensive here.
Awe, congratulations! I have mine in a pot, my mom gave me hers. It is now around 40 years old. And has been getting buds on it, but they are very tiny. So, in a few more weeks, looks like mine will join yours.
Contracts back at you,!! oh wow 40 years old, your Mom must be the best gardener ever.
