The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns will take on the #21 Appalachian State Mountaineers at Appalachian State’s home stadium in Boone, NC in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game on Saturday. The Mountaineers gained home-field for this game when they defeated the Ragin’ Cajuns 17-7 earlier in the regular season. Unfortunately, Appalachian State will not qualify to play in a New Year’s Day bowl game due to their earlier loss to Georgia Southern. Nevertheless, the Mountaineers did upset North Carolina and South Carolina this season. Both teams will depend on strong rushing attacks.
