One of the American traditions that goes along with Thanksgiving is NFL games. The very first professional football game on Thanksgiving was between the Chicago Bears against the Detroit Lions in Detroit way back in 1934. For the 85 year anniversary of this historic event, the first game today will be between the Bears and the Lions in Detroit.
The second game appears to be the best game on paper between the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys. This game is the only game out of the three in which both teams have winning records. The final game will be an NFC rivalry game between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints will look to avenge their loss earlier in the season to the Falcons.
Before you fill your gourd, please pick who you think will win. Happy Thanksgiving!

I did not know you had special NFL games on Thanksgiving. I sometimes watch the NBA in Christmas day as there is always a special match
The Christmas NBA games are fun to watch while eating dinner.
I think Buffalo will win this time
Buffalo has a good chance to win because Dallas has not won a game against a team with a winning record this season.
i have to vote with my heart and go Bears, Bills and Saints.
The Bears are getting another gift from the Lions due to their ailing quarterbacks.
Bears have a good defense but need to shore up their offense!
The offense seems to be the problem every year for the Bears. You could have made some money on a parlay if you bet on your picks because all three were right.
i don’t gamble. 🙂
I grew up watching the Bears. My grandfather and I watched them every week even when we lived 700 miles apart.
I told him on the phone in 1975 that the young kid returning kicks was going to be the greatest player ever.
I still have Walter Payton’s rookie card.
