Are you ready for some MACtion? The Mid-American Conference (MAC) continues to remain very competitive even though their region is overshadowed by the Big Ten. The conference is known as the “Cradle of Coaches” as many College Football Hall of Fame coaches began their college coaching career in the MAC. Also, the conference produces talent that plays at a high level in the NFL. For example, two of the top wide receivers, Julian Edelman and Antonio Brown, went to MAC schools. Make some time during the fall to watch some Tuesday night MAC games because you could unknowingly be watching a potential superstar.

I am looking forward to my Fighting Illini facing Eastern Michigan down the road. It will be our first test.
That game will be pretty interesting. Illinois needs to get going this year.
We should beat them though, the way we looked yesterday. Thankfully we have good transfers, and Reggie Corbin is just a beast.
Hopefully we can win at least 2 Big Ten games.
Wow. The west looks strong. I am going to put my bet on Western Michigan and Kent State
Ohio and Toledo. Obvious choices for an Ohio gal.
Both teams have a chance to win their divisions. How is Athens, Ohio because I have only been to Cincinnati before?
I’ve never been to Athens. I’ve been to quite a few other cities in Ohio though from Cincinnati to Columbus to Toledo and beyond.
I used to play football when I was in grade school.
You might have to do a post about when you played. What position did you play?
