On returning home from Whangarei on a day trip, I stopped to take photos from an rest spot. It has awesome views and this is one of them.
You see Ruakaka with those towers it’s an old oil refinery. I had some relations living here and we used to come there as children for the odd holiday. It’s a beautiful spot but I have not been back there for years.
