This image I like. These pastel and earthy colors are beautiful, and the blue stein provides excellent contrast to the whole composition. The eyes are not seen, giving a single dose of mystery, but you can see that the girl is beautiful.

This is OK puts more emphasis on her hollow eyes.
generally I go out of my way to showcase the eyes, but this time I let them stay in the shadows. gives her an air of mystery
Yes, it may work, may try something myself with eyes and show an idea which may or may not work
