The speckled coat shines in the sun. It is an adult. I will need to search for news on the looks of the juvenile Starling.
Now it is possible for anyone to mistake a Black bird for a Starling.
It is also possible for another country to have a different looking Starling to ours.

Are your American Starlings like our NZ Starlings? I would say it is possible that our NZ Starlings are like, but Mynas take over other birds nests here, I did not know it was true of Starlings as well
They look beautiful but the common starling here in the US are known for laying their eggs in other bird’s nests. Very aggressive birds.
I like the body of the Starling.
