1. Many of our pine trees died last year, and lots of little trees they had shaded are now getting bigger. The pines are being replaced by those little oaks.

   • I love those giant pines, sorry to hear they fell. That image of the giant one was so sad. So good to hear the little live oaks are flourishing.

2. Long enough to see the regrowth grow to its previous state, but nature is not in a hurry like us and because they are not waiting for anything or anyone.

3. The new arrival has been seen.

4. Sad to see all that happened in the fire, but nice to see the regrowth

   • I still need to go to where the big fire was this last time. Maybe I will get out soon, today I am getting a new camera.

5. A little bit of hope. Perhaps there will be more.
