The Palace of the Parliament from Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is the largest building in the world and the heaviest(4,098,500,000 kg) It was built between 1984 and 1997 under the Ceausescu’s lead, 700 architects worked for plans and designs, as well many workers, the number of workers being estimated between 20000 and 100 000. Many people died during the construction of this building , a report indicating about 3000.
The building has 1100 rooms, 12 floor, is 790 ft long and 890 ft wide.
