There was also some brownish red flowers in bloom, they might look dried, but they were growing and soft to the touch. Can you see them on the left?
Luna (the black dog) is waiting for me, the wolf dog is already splashing up ahead. They love to swim. Time to put away the camera and find a place to picnic. I hope you enjoyed this little hike, and make sure to look for the creek pictures coming soon.

Such pretty contrast here. I do see the flowers.
Whatever they are, they are in bloom right now for sure. There were big clumps of them along the trail the whole way.
