Lucifer couldn’t sleep. But he didn’t know why. Of course if you watched the last episode, “The Angel of San Bernadino”, you will know why. Lucifer couldn’t sleep, not because of his ridiculous fight club, not because of his Father, but because of his own paranoia. Lucifer was convinced that his Father was the one turning him into a southern California angel over night, just to tick him off.
The fight club he got into was just a means to an end; a way for him to stay awake, so that he wouldn’t go saving people at night, the way he thought his Father wanted him to.
What happened while he was awake, ironically, was that Cain and Chloe got closer, much closer. Cain’s DNA almost made an appearance in Chloe’s clothes.
Naturally, Lucifer was clueless. Maybe the reason he is so clueless, is in fact because he is Chloe less.
It was a great episode.
