Hostas are a favorite in my garden. This is a variegated type. They have different shades on the leaves, some are solid green. They come in different varieties. The best part about them is you cut them all the way back at the end of summer, then they return in the spring.
Hostas look lovely. I’ve never heard of this before, but I wouldn’t mind trying to grow this myself.
Thank you I love the different varieties.
I’ve never tried them but I’ve read that they are edible.
They are very easy to grow as well Gary.
One of the other owners is growing them in our backyard. They are even growing under a tree. They seem to be very popular in our neighborhood.
vYou have a green miracle!
That is very kind Albert, I enjoy these low maintenance plants.
A low maintenance in high value.
I didn’t know that! I have never grown them.
Oh Kim you should try some. I am sure they would grow in CA. The love hot weather. And easy peasy!
I actually plant more each year because when you cut them back you also need to thin out, which makes more plants!
This is done with many of the flowers to enjoy us all year round.
Yes, I love these from spring to the end of summer.
