not all outdated computers end up in landfills, many of them end up in third world countries. for all we know, someone is still using 5.25 floppies right now

LOL That’s a reason. Scammers need to hide in order to not get caught, even in their home countries. Then the computer also makes me think of the hikikomori, or kids that spend hours playing videogames in a dark room. ? Generally, I feel the dark vignette makes the viewer’s attention focus more on the computer screen compared to the other pictures.
