So cool to see this beautiful bird at my deck feeder. He was checking out the peanuts in the tray. He would get one in his mouth then fly away to a tree to eat it, then come back and do it again.

They are indeed beautiful birds. Unfortunately I don’t see them where I live, but they are gorgeous looking birds.

Maybe you could share some of the birds from your area.
It might be helpful to start getting them accustomed to your presence around them by putting up your big poster or photograph with the camera and putting it near that tray!

You are really lucky to often receive the presence of special guests like bluejay!
I feel blessed. Each year a different species shows up.
I don’t believe I have ever seen one of these.
You would know it as they are big beautiful and blue! I love these birds.
