1. I hate it when trees die. But it wouldn’t surprise me to see a new one pop up close by or as seedling that was there but shaded by the old tree grow to replace it.

   • Exactly my thoughts. Some would never survive without wild fires.

4. Sorry that this one didn’t make it….fires are awful

   • It sure was scary, and about 2 blocks away from us.

5. It may not recover. Defeat is enormous.

   • This is the bottom of the valley, it got really hot here.

6. These fires are devastating.

   • They sure are. This last one was horrible.
