I don’t know the exact difference, but if something on its arm is a shotgun and a bullet while it is a manual implementer, then it must be controlled properly. But still, its a cool stuff!

Mech is an adjective and characteristic of someone who does manual labour.
Robot is a noun and is a machine built to carry out some complex task or group of tasks, especially one which can be programmed.
but if the robot was doing labor, would it be a mech?
