Yes, this is the breed most used as a sheepdog in the UK. Although Okami is not a working dog, there must be something inbred that means that she has a natural tendency to “herd”. If we are out together as a family, and we move apart for any reason, she will do her utmost to stop the lost “sheep” from straying too far!
Just like my first dog Princess a Shetland sheep dog…
This is Okami – a 10 month old border collie who only rarely comes to you when called, but will always respond if you sneeze (or pretend to)!
